This garden was a pleasure to design as the homeowner is a plant enthusiast. The landscaping at this home needed just a little sprucing up as it was already well done. We added focal points, some depth, variety and tried to expand the period of blooming plants by choosing plants that bloom in different times of the year.
In this project we focused on creating long lasting landscape with modern twist.
It was a big project with fence, staircase and whole front yard update. Front yard was also the only space with full sun exposure so we tried to fit in some garden beds for future veggie patch and arbor for grapes and hardy kiwi.
This garden space was designed to provide privacy from the street below. We focused on choosing trees that can thrive in narrow planting strip, are appropriate for the site and can grow tall enough to provide adequate screen.
