🌼 I am a certified reseller of Renee’s Garden seeds, known for great quality and high germination. I only sell this year’s fresh seed stock. Heliotrope ‘Marine’ is a fantastic choice for gardeners seeking a scented, compact, and easy-to-grow plant that brings a classic, old-fashioned charm to flower beds, containers, or aromatic herb gardens.
🌹 What to do when you receive your seeds:
Start seeds indoors 8–10 weeks before your last expected frost date. Lightly press seeds onto a moist seed-starting mix — do not cover, as Heliotrope seeds need light to germinate. Provide warmth and consistent moisture; seedlings usually emerge within 14–21 days. Once seedlings have several sets of true leaves, transplant them to individual pots. After the last frost, harden off seedlings gradually and plant out in well-drained, rich soil with full sun or partial shade. Space plants about 8–12 inches apart. Water regularly, and feed monthly during the growing season for best bloom production. Container-grown heliotrope also does beautifully. Deadhead spent blooms lightly to encourage continued flowering through summer and fall.
